When Integral Lightings met with this production facility located in Langley BC they had two production bays.  The 6 year old main production bay with 400W metal halide lighting, and the newer expansion bay with T5 6 lamp fluorescent fixtures.  Management wanted to reduce electricity consumption while increasing the light level in the main production area.  LED, fluorescent T5 and electronic HID systems were compared and then a 200 watt electronic system demo unit was installed.  The 200W eHID system produced more light than the T5 6 lamp system and doubled the energy savings.  The exterior 400W metal halides that illuminated the parking and loading areas were upgraded to LED fixtures rated at more than 118,000 operating hours.  Most of the units were replaced with 90W LED units but due to the control over LED optics 60W units were used to light the over lit lane way and parking.
